I made All-District and All-Parish, but not All-State. 2 out of 3 isn't bad. Same thing as last year. Actually, last year, I came in 10th out of about 30 people. This year I came in 11th out of 50 people. I failed the driving test because I did a "rolling stop" [didn't stay stopped long enough at a stop sign]...What the crap?! Now I have to wait 2 weeks, and I've no idea how I'm supposed to get to All-District auditions at Catholic High on the 9th...=/

I finished The Da Vinci Code today. It's probably one of the best books I've ever read. In a literature sense, not because of the contents. I love Dan Brown's style. He's got me craving for more. Starting this Tuesday, I will be tutoring a Freshman in Algebra I, every Tuesday, for 1-3 hours [specifics haven't been worked out yet.] How much should I charge an hour? Correction: How much would you, kind reader, charge an hour? It has to be less than $15. That's the only rule.

So, The Da Vinci Code is turning out to be a very captivating book. I started reading it around 1:30 pm today, and am halfway through with it. I only put it down to cook, use the bathroom, and for about an hour-long break. The way it's written just keeps me hooked. I don't want to put it down.
