Nothing...

I am once again falling into the trap where all I feel like I am doing is spinning in a circle. My days are consisting of going to work, spending time with Greg and figuring out which family member I need to visit next. All the while I am constantly trying to figure out what I want to do with the rest of my life. I just feel so unsure of myself ( Read more... )

There is a few shops in town that have really good inkers. And they do csutom art. Some do it for free and will do it as many times as you need them to to get it right. Just search around. I haven't decided what my next ink is going to be.

Hey,
Where did you get your tattoo done at? The guy that I kind of talked the idea over with was hestitant to do the words. Like I said I do not want them to be huge because I want to get it on my foot.
He is telling me not to get the quote but I don't want just the compass.

first off, the guy has no right to tell you that you should just get the compass. It's your body that you are permanantly(sp?) scarring with ink. It is in no wy up tohim what you want. He probably just thought that he couldn't do it ut still wanted you to get the work done there(money grubbing bastards!!!) Where did you go?? I went to the inksmith and rogers on beach boulevardfor my ink and I went to I&R on Atlantic for my peircings. Also the Southside tattoos are pretty damn good as well. There is also some places on the westside and riverside that you may want to check out but I have forgotten the names of the parlors. Just search around and ask to see their portfolio. They should have a little book with all the ink that they have done. Good luck and go to a lot of places.

I have been wanting another Tat for years but I could never decide on one. Right now I want a Cypress Tree because its my Celtic symbol and I want to keep with the theme. Maybe something meaningful in runes. That idea for your next one is so awesome. It expresses so much and can yet be hopeful as well. Have you thought about your shoulder or neck? Maybe between your shoulder blades like where I have mine? You could put it low so no one will see it often. It will be private and special.

I like your ideas. I think though this one is going to be put on my foot, partially because I like the area, it can still be covered with pants and you walk with you feet in the direction of your life so it just makes sense to me to put the compass there. I have to work on the design but as soon as I get it done I will send you a photo.

Have you got any wedding photos back yet?

Not yet. Haven't been in one place long enough to think straight. I just barely managed to get my act together long enough to sort out my appointment to get my permanent residency here in the UK. That 500 quid gone. Worth it though.

Anyway, do you still collect Hemingway or first edition stuff? Someone at work told me about this store in Bloomsbury where he bought Islands in the Stream first edition and they had a few more left. I thought if you are still into that sort of thing and you don't already have it, I might pick one up for you. I know its not his greatest book but it was the one published after his death. Let me know and it will be your early Christmas gift.

Yeah I still try to collect first editions of Hemingway and such. That would be awesome if they are not to exspenive. Reading is so nice when I get the chance, I wish I was still in school just so I could get the mental stimulation. I am going to try and start writing small reviews on the books that I have read so I can try and practice. Who knows one day I can try to become a book reviewer.
