Fuck man, when I walked in the house stoned at three o clock and he wasn't there frothing and barking visciously at the door to kill the intruders he always must've wished would appear, I knew what had happened. It's amazing how a person misses something like that I guess, but when I come home now to work into the night with my head filled with whatever, I do miss it.

Written on the wall of my apartment in a nice fat sharpie in the stairwell between the third and fourth floor are the words "Only Love".
