That depends on who you're talking to.

You.

Anyone.

They promised me nothing. I'm not here of my own free will.

[Interesting. Damn.]

They're keeping you here?

Someone says jump you all say "how high". [This Admiral. Tom. Don't think she doesn't know it's you.]

Or at least these "paired" people do. Willingly latching on like that.

Half of them were promised anything they wanted.

That's a lot of leverage for the other half to ignore for the sake of looking non-complacent.

Using controllers to keep the people who are resisting in line. I didn't think there were still willing-

[No, what was she thinking? Of course there were.]

They willingly agreed to do it but they might not want to in the end. When they..

[shit.]

Do you have any details?

I'm not complacent. It's called biding my time.

It does little good to shout and scream and stir up trouble with the wardens here, because in the grand scheme of things, they have little power, barely more than you or I. It is the Admiral I wish to set my sights on. He is the only one with control of this ship and where it goes.

The admiral.

[She's listening.]

I don't know about power and lack thereof. Where do I find this Admiral?

The 'complacent' part.

I was referring to this post about "pairing" wardens and inmates. What would willingly bring people to another person for the purposes of being locked in a box together?

What makes you think those of us here are complacent?

I expected open revolt over what this place is.

[Prison ship clearly. lol lol lol.] I'd expect people would want to FIGHT.

The Inmate population at large is generally too disorganized and too busy in-fighting and complaining to turn against those that really deserve it.

That doesn't mean some of us don't plan to do something about our situation, when the time comes.

...They call you inmates.

[She shakes her head. What a way to motivate]

Fair enough.
