Interestingly, I'm much more confident in Obama now than I was before the elections... or even during Election Day. I've had nothing against him, but it's that feeling that I feel that our country will move in a better direction in the next four years and that I've made the right decision by voting him that has finally settled within me--- ( Read more... )

I honestly think that Obama is a better candidate than McCain. I doubt McCain's old policies would help much, but then again some of Obama's socialist policies are troubling. -shrugs ( ... )

Yeah, I've heard about how blacks have a tendency to frown upon gays (or at least black men because they're supposed to act "masculine" and whatnot) ... and that's why it's hard for black gays to come out of the closet. Kinda off topic. Rofl.

But yeah, I heard about the Arkansas thing. Quite sad. I'm sure it'll be overturned within our generation though; I think the older generations tend to be more closeminded.

Oh, haha, yeah, I've heard of that, too. But that's not necessarily the case. XD

Hopefully, it will be overturned within our generation, it seems it should be. Especially after seeing on the exit polls that the younger generation tended to vote for support of gay marriages. And the older generations are traditional as well. -shrugs-
