My Danish lecturer is so wonderful, I want her to adopt me as her assistant to we can live in Marylebone and carry out vital linguistics research (for some reason I imagine this being done with a chemistry set) and once we had adressed the Royal College of Arts with our earth shattering findings we would retire to our wing armchairs in the library

Ivan the terrible. Good choice, although I'm not sure about the military and diplomacy bit! If only character studies were allowed. (where research = impossible, imagination = vital)

I agree! Sadly, I've already been in trouble for reading sensationalist 18th century biographies instead of 'proper' books about him, so I think I'd better play it safe!
