Today was a momentous day for me. For those of you not aware in November, Australia had it's first change of government in 11 long years. After years of denial and ignorance we have a governement who was willing to acknowledge the wrong deeds committed in the past under the misgiven policies of successive Australian governments. Man, I spent yesterday morning glued to the TV, and doing those weird little gasping sobs because I was so emotional and happy about what I was hearing. It's such an opportunity to put the Howard years behind us as a nation, and move forwards in accord instead of division.
