my cousin said it would be possible for me to stay at her flat in kensington for a while if i don't mind cramped quarters. so if my french dream doesn't come to true, then i'll be moving to london indefinitely or at least until my visa expires (maybe i'll fall in love with an englishmen and we'll get married so i can stay or something

I have to take summer sessions to finish up my undergrad studies and i cant do it abroad because they dont offer the specific classes i need in order to graduate.
but in two months, i'll find out from the french ministry whether or not i got the assistantship in france. i'm not counting on it since i couldn't meet all the requirements but in the meantime, my fingers remain crossed.

are you still moving to Spain? I haven't the chance to visit spain yet but i hear barcelona is a treasure.
