Tonight, I totally revamped my entire resume--four times before I finally got it structured the way I want (for this job, anyway), then I wrote two mini-essays, filled everything out in the webforms the way they asked, and hit the "Submit" button.
My God, I totally nailed it. My "essays" were beautifully written, and my resume went right to the outlined points they provided for both job responsibilities and what they were seeking in a candidate. I have the perfect resume for this job, the perfect amassed experience, and I have insiders who can endorse me.
If I get this job, I'll be an Education Consultant, responsible for teacher training (for this particular company) throughout Washington, Oregon, and British Columbia. The Pacific Northwest. Heaven. The Cascadesa and the Canadian Rockies. The Oregon Coast. Vancouver Island. I'm salivating.
This, my friends, could mean a BIG MOVE. I've been saying for five years that I probably won't be happy until I live for at least a little while in Seattle. "My time comin' any day now ... don't worry about me ... no, no, no, don't worry about me."
Holy f-in' shit. What have I done?
