I la,ent your perfectionism sometimes because it occludes your ability to give yourself credit for what you do right...or what's good. I'm NOTG saying you should lower your standards or simply settle; that's not my style any more than it is yours. I would just hope you'd learn to see your work more favorably, that's all...fine tune that perspective.

To put anotheer way, not all Faulkner sentences merit a thorough diagramming exercise.

if he did, I'm sure it was for the best in this best of all possible worlds...and if he did not, my experience over the last three decades have proven that to be the case more often than not.

Without Steve and the arrow in his head, what good will it do me to dress up like a deer with a bow? From now on, I will just have to be Tank Girl. Cuz I've gotten damned good at that.
