Wow, now that is a change. The difference between a good haircut and a bad haircut is about ten days. Of course there was that time in England when i cried for a month because the hairdresser cut my hair so short.

Then there was the time I got the redlights put in my hair. Everyone in the family hated them and thought I was stupid. I loved them at first, but then felt weird about what makeup to wear and what clothes went with my hair. And I would see brunettes and think, "ooh we are both brunettes", and then realize that at the moment I wasn't--that was a weird turn of events.

I am thinking of doing purple streaks but I have zero dollars right now so I will have to wait. I mean, is someone going to fire me?!

Plus, you're an English teacher. Isn't it expected that your hair get shorter as you get older? :D

No, it's not shorter than yours. In fact, it's nowhere near as short as yours. In fact, upon second look (I've avoided the mirror for four days), it's not actually above my ears either. And, honestly, it's probably no shorter than it was in the summer when I chopped it all off. So ... sorry to alarm you :)
