Doctor gave me my "official" diagnosis yesterday-- says he's still not sure what it is, but it's close to lupus, so we'll just treat it like that, he says. He says it's bizarre because it's sort of acting like lupus, but I'm not showing a lot of the signs of lupus and it's attacking my nerve tissue (which isn't as common as attacking other parts ( Read more... )

Maybe you get the ray when you're walking again. But it looks like she gave you a good deal more than half. It's cause you're so awesome that there's no way you can be given any less than 3/4 of a cheer, even when you're trying to hold off the rest till later. You can be squeezed all the way though. *squeeze*

Dr.s don't know everything. ;) I think maybe Ayurveda and chinese medicine might be something good for you to look into. I'm thinking Accupressure (or maybe even Accupuncture) and Qi Gong may benefit you.

Anyway, know that you aren't alone. I'm pretty messed up too... I know what it's like to play stump the dr... :\

Hee hee...*remembers last visit to the doctor*

Dr: No, it can't be a dislocation. That's impossible.
Me: What is it, then?
Dr: I don't know.
Me: Then how will you treat it?
Dr: Well, I'll have to treat it like a dislocation, because that's what it looks like...but it can't actually be one!
