Did you at least get his collar back? I'm gonna have a shrine to Suzi with her collar and leash and favorite toys and such.

Yeah, you don't exactly know what you're getting with a shelter dog. But we've had three and they've all been wonderful. When we first brought Suzi home she was scared to death and hid under beds shaking. Now look at her - she thinks she's Queen of the World. More than likely shelter dogs are going to be very nervous and skittish at first because they really haven't had anyone love them before. But you can see what happens when you spoil them! All three of the dogs have been terrier/poodle mixes and none had any medical disorders. Suzi's almost 14 and she still acts like a puppy.

I got his collar back. it's my favorite one, plus the tag has my # on it. i clipped it on the nightstand so i see it every night before i go to bed.
