Personally, I really like where the show took Castiel this season, and I'm highly anticipating the road yet (I still have my issues with S6, but bygones and all that).
A lot of people hated it, and say what they will, they can't claim it hasn't given fandom a lot to chew on. I'm not complaining if it's less than a week since 7.17 and already we're getting authors like yourself coming from the woodwork to speculate and providing awesome fic like this.

Terrific exploration of Cas' inner struggles. It's tricky to find that balance between the hallucinations as reality vs the hallucinations as a manifestation of one's mental state but I think you pulled it off beautifully! And I love the idea of Dean using the text messages as a way to reach out to Cas while also coming to terms with his own anger. Very nicely done....

Thank you for always reading my fic, it really makes me feel so much better. And I was actually uncertain of how Dean would text (like how much chat speak, etc), so it's good to see that the texting worked out well.
