I was just craving something like this, so involved in Dean & Castiel, so deep. Just so perfect, really. I loved every description, how Dean was standing there in the rain just thinking.

Picturing in my head the scene of Dean on his knees and Cas just a feet aways, looking at each other in the rain just do things to my head. Perfect work.

This is so moody and so awesome. Cas' eyes like jewels in a museum case, SO GOOD. And really I would have loved it no matter what because it had pale!bloodlossy!wet!cold!Dean with Cas taking care of him, but this was very evocative, like, so much tenderness and stillness and achiness.

Ooooh, I love the way you snuck in some hurt!Dean into this story- I just adore some good Dean whump, especially when when there's comfort in the form of one fiercely protective angel. I also admire just how wonderfully you explore so many core SPN themes. Terrific stuff! So glad to have you back, hon.
