I've only recently dipped my toe into SPN AU and when it comes to Dean/Cas AUs, now I can't seem to get enough. I really enjoy seeing how authors reimagine their relationship while holding onto the integrity of the characters. You did such a great job with this fic- I hope you decide to continue with this 'verse because I'd love to read more!

Gah! This is less angsty than your usual stuff? I don't think I could survive the rest of your writing. xD Nevertheless, I really enjoyed this. I like the verse that you've set up - the snapshots of Dean and Cas growing up together were so vivid, and the one about Cas and his bread mold science fair project just about killed me. (Oh, Cas, you adorable little nerd.)

I'm a sucker for unrequited love and pining, whether or not it's resolved in the end. I'll be looking forward to more of this verse. :)

P.S. I am getting my wisdom teeth out in two days, so Dean's situation filled me with dread. If only I had Castiel to sit next to me and bring me ice cream. xD
