I went to Manhattan with my sis to see "The Life Aquatic" in Lincoln Square. First we went to Ellen's Stardust Diner, which is this crazy 50's-themed place with singing waiters and waitresses. Last night I was watching a Jim Croce DVD and they showed footage of him with his wife and little son, who was a toddler at the time. It was amazing what seeing that did to me. I sat there in awe watching the two of them with their son. It made me ache for a family of my own. Crazy huh? I just watched Jim and his wife together, the tender way ( Read more... )

By the way, this morning was no bullshit 20 minute delay. My car doors were frozen solidly shut. No amount of pulling would pry them open.
