Yeah, I'm not too happy to hear this either. And I agree that the writers are too scared to kill him off, the massive Misha/Castiel fanbase would probably kill them. :P

I didn't know he was interested in directing either, I don't know if he's ever done it before. lol I'm trying to picture that now

I think Misha is a good actor and he's funny, sometimes his jokes go to far etc. It's just I'm so done with the angel story line.

I know right?! It just feel's like he's only there to please these fan's, that will only watch the bloody show if Castiel is there.

Yeah he kept that quiet didn't he? Not like him. XD

Maybe Jared will get to direct a ep in season 10, if there is one. ;)

Me, I'm over the angel storyline, and tired of Castiel to boot. I liked him at first, how they played him, but then they played him for laughs and it was all over for me. Misha's a decent actor, but I really wish they'd move on. *my two cents*

Castiel and the whole angel thing was great at first season 4/5. But we are now onto season 8, coming up to season 9 and he's still hanging round. =/

I don't mind Castiel most of the time but I feel sorry for SPN fan's that want him gone, cause it's not going to happen. And it's annoying cause I know if he wasn't so popular he would be long gone. =/

Yeah I have nothing against Misha, I just feel Castiel's story should have ended by now.
