I know this is a little late, but I had to pull myself together before I could write this. Sunday (9-11), my Maddy (really good friend) got the news that her husband (also over here) was killed in an IED strike. I had to hold my feelings in till I got her on the plane to head home. She is the one person that I got to, to talk about everything

I'm so sorry to hear that. I'm really sorry for the loss, and for the fact that you've lost Maddy in another way. I'm here for you if you need me!
