There’d been something between Dean and Castiel. Something real. But that hadn’t stopped Cas from going home. Sacrificing their love for the greater good.
Jimmy approached, beaming his gratitude.
“I want to thank you for what you’ve done. For us. It couldn’t have been an easy decision to make - for either of you.”
“Hey, man, don’t mention it,” Dean said, gruffly.
Jimmy’s voice softened. “He would’ve stayed if he could. He wanted to. I just… thought you should know.”
