The Last Few Days

Sep 22, 2005 13:21

Last weekend was fairly quiet. Having been feeling a little under the weather I've not been myself the last week or so :(

Thursday we had a Sirenz meeting with the girls, then I headed out to Timbuk2 for Bad By Design. It was good, but numbers were majorly lacking. I was also not feeling well at all, so we headed home relatively early ( Read more... )

Thank you. I'm looking forward to leading it again, hopefully without the leg-shaking episode (although that seems to be what happens to me on that climb!)

Hope you had a wonderful evening after you left us :)

That white one is actually much easier to lead than to second, at least as far as I am concerned.

I had major bouts of disco leg on Friday when leading climbs, especially the 5B on the little wall (I suspect the one you mention). There was an unplanned sitting down moment!

Was that the 5B on the entrance between the big boys wall and small wall, that you have to actually climb over the doorway (yellow & black)? I don't think I'd want to lead that just yet, it was scary enough seconding it! Good on you for leading at 5B. I'm just about coping with leading the 5A climbs. The white one scares me when I reach the bridge whether I'm leading or seconding. Leading was just worse as I was more scared if I fell!

Just how much does it suck to lose a close friend like that? ;)

You are making me jealous here :p

It sucks big time. The worst part is, I LOVED it the first time I climbed it, but have only climbed it 2wice and now its gone. I didn't even get a good run on it :P

If you are jealous why not get your ass to the climbing center?

There's a few things stopping me.. Mostly the fcat that I've not been for years, and my old climbing buddy is currently immobile (My brother, following the operation on his knee). At the moment I'm not entirely confident I could (or should) take someone who doesn't know exactly what they are doing

I was suggesting you join us ;P

I'm sure Heppie won't mind. The more climbers the better!
