Netting might be needed. Or maybe you just have to wait for next year's bumper crop.

Yeah, not sure which route I will go. I really want some raspberries, dammit.

Did you ever get the ground cherry seeds I sent you?

I did! They came last week and I just got them in the ground the other day. We do have some ground cherry seedlings from the last of our seed that popped up, so I'm hoping that yours will too and we'll have a decent crop before we go to Mass in August. *sigh* I might just purchase seedlings from seed savers next year. :D

First of all, I had to google ground cherry. Never heard of them before. Secondly, netting works well. They call it deer net around here.

Thanks for the tip. That may be what I need to search for instead of bird netting to get what I have pictured in my mind.
