i stayed home yesterday sick and had only about two hours of intense guilt. this was eventually overcome by many more hours of sore throat. this morning, i was worse. this is the mother of the cold, i tell you. every year it comes and this year it's early. i'm hoping to kick it by monday but i'm not confident of that. putting on my tights this

Your view on the politics of education sounds like the coolest teacher who was part of the teacher's institute that I was part of last summer. There was a guy who'd just begun teaching history, and he was anally binding every classroom suggestion around this new ridiculous set of guidelines, and then the cool lady, who'd been teaching for 30+ years basically told him what you just said.

thanks!sometimes it feels like an uphill battle and that i'm being inflexible on some issues but i have to take hope and have faith in my own "professional" judgment.
