So I've been working really hard on this house we are in since we moved here last August.. My project recently being my bedroom.
I have found some amazing deals... I got our bedding (my first fancy bedding purchase ever) this week for $103 when it SHOULD have cost $380 (I totally scored a Vera Wang pillow that was $50 for $9!)... and I got my "head ( Read more... )

that's beautiful! that is what i would want my room to look like if i could go all out. i love the bird art behind the bed! great job. :)

The birds were $7 each!
Honestly the whole room cost about $300. The furniture was free (mil) just painted it, most of the deco is vintage from my grandmother, the bedding is the most expensive thing at $103. I was as thrifty as possible! ;p

i really like the orange jewel toned colors and the bird hangings. i have a lot of birds in my bedroom too. <3 them.

I love how bright and airy it looks! It's all really beautiful.
I also have a wall hanging above my bed rather than a regular headboard. It's cheaper and so much less work that way, plus I really like the way it looks. I'll have to post some pics after I move next month.
I have those same square shelves but I haven't even taken them out of the box yet. I need to find some cute knick-knacks to put on them. You're inspiring me.

I LOVE the feel and theme of your bedroom. Absolutely beautiful and I adore those hanging lamps/lanterns. You and Dana inspire me so!
