I'm just posting because I haven't for a while.
:o)
American chocolate sucks... From the few I have tried (so maybe my mind will be changed one day). Maybe it's because it was just a giant fun bag of selected Hershey chocolate.
The KitKat's looked like their logo hasn't changed sine the 70s or 80s. And their KitKat chocolate taste different; not so nice and melty. Otherwise it's the same as we know.
The Reese's Peanut Butter Cups were addictive. I could eat them again and again and again and again. We are missing something on our confectionary shelves on this side of the world.
Hershey bars have an after-taste of rubber. Seriously, eat, wait a second, and you taste rubber. They also don't melt in your mouth; if you try you jsut end up with a gluggy mess in your mouth and have to chew and swallow anyway.
I would've thought them better, because:
A) Hershey is a brand I actually have heard of and weve had some of it's chocolate out here and
B) America supposedly loves it's junk food; so wouldn't the junk food be better in quality?
Maybe you just get used to what you know.
Yes, we are lucky with our Tim Tams and Mint Slices. :)
Oh, and GO Mars Bars! :D
