Natasha, Neal and I headed to downtown Portsmouth to take photos. Tash was toting her Holga (an evidently "ghetto camera", to quote Tashi) for a class assignment in black and white photography. I brought my bad-ass Kodak Easyshare P850, which is way too good for me, and took a couple of snaps myself

1. Portsmouth is my second home.

2. That crazy Gothic church is the United Universalist church, or South Church. I have thrice times spent two consecutive nights inside of it, helping out with an Ed Gerhard Christmas show.

3. My dear friend Ian (of Marlboro College fame) lives just down from that school (it's also his old school) and we have a few times taken that trail and railroad tracks from his house to that playbround. He tells me that when those shredded tires were first developed and subsequently ordered, they used steel-belted radials, and therefore kids weren't allowed to play there until the metal shards rusted out.

No kidding, Ian used to go to North Hampton? If he went to Winnacunnet, and I go to Marlboro (and both options are more than likely), the two of us will have gone to the same schools from elementary through college. Coincidences abound, huh?

in one of the pics as i'm rolling down the hill, you could see neal in the background and he looks like a black KKK member. lol. The pointy hood.

he took his pic for the year book today and showed me. It looks so nice, he's a horrible model. But he looks nice in pictures and has a nice smile. Just dont expect any cool horror movie shots from him haha
