When I get rejected, I somewhat get bummed out that I didn't get what I wanted, but I feel better because first: I tried, if I didn't, I would've been guaranteed no chance at all; and second: like Briana once said in a journal entry of hers, it's in the past so it can't really hurt you anymore...unless you allow it to. :/ Anyway, it's not wrong to react with pride...you should be pround because, like I said before, you tried, you guaranteed yourself a chance when a lot of people would've not tried at all because they were afraid of getting rejected or getting hurt. You faced that fear (that is, if you were afraid at all) and you were brave...which is also something to be proud of. :-D Well, I hoped that helped, either way...I know you'll make the right decision...I have faith in you. :::muah::: Love Ya!!!!!

wat husani said totally makes sense but frankily, he sounds like my mom lol...i am generally really aware of my mind and the emotions i feel, and rejection sucks...i can understand you being proud, but for me, i would only be using pride as a mask for my true feelings. as in, it wouldnt be something to help the pain and ease it, but something to hide it from the world...but then again thats just me...good luck :D....

I'm not trying to hide the fact that it hurts...it hurts like a bitch (in most situations). I'm just saying that though it might not help you feel totally better everytime, it does counteract the whole "feeling like shit" feeling... :/ I'm not quite sure that made sense :/...sorry...

rejection sucks,but its how we deal with it that makes us who we are
(i don't know who "we" is but moving on..) being rejected hurts and you sit there for hours and wonder about you're inadequecies and why you're not good enough. but you have to come to the realization that rejection is just one of those things that life gives us to deal with and then you have to conclude that you are good enough,and that its the unfortunate who reject you that fail to appreciate just what a wonderful person you are,its their loss,not yours
