It becomes hard to get older because the hardest part is watching those we love who are even old have health issues. We think about what life would be like without them, and it makes our heart freeze. But no matter what, life will go on, we get through and cherish those who are still with us and need our love.
My grandmother is 96 and every time I see her I worry it will be the last. But I take comfort in the fact that she's lived a long and wonderful life. What's even harder is realizing that your parents aren't invincible the way you think they are when you're young. It's such a hard part of growing up.

Hang in there.
