In LA to help Niki move her house out. She is nuts. So nuts. She is also going a little crazy for real - mostly just repeating herself a lot, which sucks. Dementia is one of my biggest fears, ick ick ick. I hope she is ok. Her mom has it. My grandma had it. What a horrible way to go. or not go, as it were. ick

You have LA pegged. I remember when I would drive down to see Bina and hang out in Hollywood waiting for her to get home from work. Every time I was up here I would convince myself the the stereotypes weren't true, and then I'd walk around Hollywood and Highland and see them all right in front of me. LA is weird. But fun in small doses.

Also: both my my grandmothers died from Alzheimer's complications. I share your dementia fears. Let's do crossword puzzles together when we're old ladies, ok?
