Ice cream! anonymous June 26 2006, 16:20:36 UTC
Take ice cream! That's what people eat when they're depressed, right?

Seems kind of weird that the prof wants you to spend money. It's like buying another required textbook or something. Then again, if your grade has already been determined, what's the problem with going empty-handed?

Lace - all the fangled notions we have about psychological diseases are going to be showing up in an email...it is stereotyping in a way...

When I get depressed I crave chocolate and pringles - doesn't mean that that food is associated with depression...I reccomend picking up a journal (your can some online - I think) and scanning it for scientific finds...

That way if you did somehow get a B ( bc some profs are annoying and don't rate things "higher" ) you might convince him to give out those rarely given As...

If I have time I will skim a journal or 2 online and post what I find...

It's a pretty silly thing... kind of demeaning if you think about it, and I'd expect him to know better. Anyway, he's not a harsh grader (not many profs around here are), and I don't think we need to go to that much trouble, especially considering he gave us 2 days to do this. So don't worry about it, you're busy enough as it is!

I like the idea of doing things that are opposites, like sweet and sour chicken. Maybe sour patch kids. Thing that have two distict and maybe opposite flavors at the same time. :)
