Next morning, around ten am, Kangin stepped through the automatic doors of the SM building, smiling cheerfully. He greeted everyone happily, making his way towards the familiar elevator, the expression not faltering even when the doors closed and he was left alone in the small box of buttons and metal. He had made a few calls right after waking up at six am, putting his plan in action, and was now very pleased. This day would surely turn out wonderful.

Kangin walked down the corridors quickly, and made his way to the living room doors. He stopped to take a deep breath, frowning slightly at the fast pace his heart was beating at. Why was he so excited? Probably because of the plan. Since it was ingenious. Yeah. That was it.

Kangin knocked briefly, and pushed the doors open. As soon as he had stepped inside the room something hit him in the chest - something hard, clingy and blond. He smiled as Leeteuk's arms wrapped tightly around his waist, and answered the hug with at least as much enthusiasm. "Good morning, Teukie" he greeted, staring softly down at the light blond locks. He had sudden urge to bury his nose into that soft mess of gold. It smelled so sweet...

"Good morning, Kangin" was murmured against his chest, and he snapped out of his daze, smiling affectionately. Leeteuk was warm and fragile against his body, and the sweet smell of whatever shampoo he used was enough to relax him, lulling him into a calm daydream of-

"Leeteuk" an angry voice snapped from the blackboard set on one of the walls, making Leeteuk jump and pull away from his friend. Kangin resisted the urge to glare at the figure standing near the wall, a stick in his hands.

"I'm sorry, Choi-ssi" Leeteuk hurriedly murmured and rushed back to his seat in the arm chair next to the coffee table. The teacher folded his arms and scowled at his student, who dropped his head in an ashamed manner.

"Kim-ssi, I have told you I will not tolerate any kind of disturbance during my classes" Choi Heejoon then snapped at Kangin. "I have also made it very clear that you two are not allowed to interact."

Kangin raised his hands in a defensive manner. "Yes, I know, I'm very sorry, Choi-ssi. This will not happen again- "

"I hope not. And since it seems like you have no interest in our lecture, Leeteuk, I will leave for the day. Tomorrow we will hold the test after the lecture. I suggest you study, or I assure Kyuhyun-ssi will not be happy with you."

With this the man threw his stick to the table, grabbed his bag and coat and marched through the door, leaving behind two pairs of wide dark eyes.

Leeteuk broke down.

Kangin rushed to the chair as the blond let out a choked sob, his head falling into his hands. Leeteuk clutched his hair, sobbing furiously as a few small tears dripped down his cheeks. "I'm stupid" he wailed as Kangin grabbed his wrists and forced his hands down from his face. "Appa will hate me!"

Kangin sighed, and did the only thing that seemed comforting enough: he stood up, took one of Leeteuk's arms and hooked it behind his neck, before sneaking his arms behind the slender male's back and under his legs and raised him to the air.

Leeteuk yelped as Kangin lifted him up and carried him to the couch, sitting down so that he was now cradled against the dark-haired man's chest, sitting on his lap. Leeteuk blinked, so confused that he completely forgot to keep sobbing.

"It's okay" Kangin murmured, looking at anything but Leeteuk. "Trust me. Everything will be fine." The blond blinked again, and sniffled softly, letting his head rest against his friend's shoulder. "Okay" he whispered, closing his eyes and concentrating on the feeling. Kangin's body was warm and safe against his, his arms strong and protective, and the way his chest moved with his breathing calmed Leeteuk down.

Leeteuk hummed, a small, content sound, and wrapped his other arm around Kangin's neck too. They sat there, holding each other in silence, Kangin's cheek coming to rest on Leeteuk's hair. He closed his eyes, breathing in the scent of the golden locks. It was warm and peaceful, and the artificial body in his arms felt real and good. He suddenly felt very sleepy...

Just as Kangin was about to close his eyes and take a nap, there was a soft knock and the door opened. He raised his head, locking eyes with Sungmin who peeked in. The dark-haired male smiled, and slipped in to the room with a tray in his hands. Leeteuk raised his head from Kangin's shoulder, and smiled. "Hello, umma" he greeted cheerfully "did you make food?"

Sungmin laughed softly as he placed the tray on the table. "Yep, I brought you two some snacks, and tea, and- hey, where's your teacher?" He looked around himself, confused, and Leeteuk's head slumped. Kangin frowned as the slender male hid his face in his neck again, and protectively squeezed him a little tighter.

"Choi-ssi had something to take care of and we agreed to end the lecture a little early" Kangin explained, giving Sungmin a meaningful look and a glance at the saddened blond in his arms. Sungmin arched an eyebrow, but nodded nonetheless. "Oh, I understand. That's okay then."

Kangin could feel Leeteuk smile against his neck, and he sighed in relief. Apparently the other bought Sungmin's act. "Come on, Teukie, let's get lunch, mm?" He patted the blond's thigh, making him squeak slightly, and chuckled as the blushing male quickly got off his lap, dropping himself to sit beside him on the couch. Sungmin grinned and shook his head, and was about to head out of the room.

"Hey, Sungmin, my delivery should arrive in less than an hour - would you please show them here when they come?" Kangin asked as he reached for the sandwiches that were placed on the table. Sungmin glanced over his shoulder, raising an eyebrow at the happily munching male. "Uh, sure. What did you order?"

Kangin grinned. "Just a little something to help Teukie. Nothing dangerous, don't worry." Sungmin smiled. "Right, good. I'll show them here." He then turned to the door and exited the room, leaving the two alone.

Tentatively Leeteuk reached for a sandwich, and took a small bite. He was sure he'd never get used to all the different flavours - Sungmin made sure to make different kind of sandwiches every day. They had had chicken on Tuesday, tuna on Wednesday, and now, apparently, it was time for... Something he didn't know. Something orange.

After swallowing Leeteuk glanced at his friend, eyes wide. Kangin smiled. "Do you like it?" The robot nodded. "What is it?"

"Salmon. It's a fish. A big one."

"Fish? Like tuna? We had tuna yesterday!" Leeteuk looked excited. He had liked tuna, too, and so this seemed like he had just learned a new thing: all fish was delicious. The dark-haired male eyed the android that was rapidly taking tiny bites and munching happily. A slight smile tugged his lips, but on the same time, there was something bothering him.

He didn't really know what it was that was making his stomach twist slightly. Nothing was wrong. It was warm and comfortable, he was sitting on a couch with his new best friend. His new beautiful, innocent, childish best friend. His hand was frozen halfway towards his mouth as he absent-mindedly watched Leeteuk. He was so beautiful - big, curious eyes with that mysterious glow, light golden hair hanging over his forehead, beautifully curving lips, wide, happy smile-

"Kangin?"

Kangin snapped out of his reverie as Leeteuk stared at him, cheeks puffed - apparently full of salmon sandwich -, head cocked to the side. "Are you okay?" he mumbled, words slightly muffled by the food in his mouth.

Kangin smiled, a tight, bothered expression, but apparently it satisfied Leeteuk. He thanked the Gods the blond male wasn't good in reading people. He sighed silently before chomping on his sandwich, trying to will the bothering feeling away. He didn't need it. He didn't want it. It wasn't right.

He glanced at Leeteuk again, and couldn't help a slight smile at the happy expression on the android's face as he munched on his fourth sandwich. He couldn't really tell himself what he felt wasn't right - how could anything related to Leeteuk not be right? Everything in the blond was right, beautiful, perfect.

A knock on the door startled both of them, and Sungmin peeked inside, smiling. "Your delivery is here." Kangin grinned, his mood lightening immediately as he jumped up from the couch. "Great! Bring it inside!"

Sungmin opened the door and stepped aside as two men carefully carried a very large object wrapped in brown paper inside. It was the size of two windows in width, and at least fifty centimetres higher than Kangin and Leeteuk. They were lucky the doors were so high, or otherwise it wouldn't have fit inside.

Kangin looked at the package excitedly, and rushed to the delivery men. "Place it in the middle of the room - yes, yes, just like that - ah, that's perfect! Thank you!" The men set the object down, and one of them dug a smaller package, also wrapped in brown paper, out of his bag, handing it to Kangin before a paper and a pen. "Kim Youngwoon-ssi? Would you please sign this?"

Kangin happily signed, and looked up as he gave the papers back. However, the delivery man wasn't paying attention to his client as the stuff was pushed back into his hands - he was concentrated on staring at the creature sitting on the couch, his sixth sandwich in his hands, eyes wide and glowing.

"Is that the robot?" the delivery man breathed, clearly awestruck, and made Kangin frown. "No. He's my friend. Now, please leave, we are busy."

"I will show you gentlemen out!" Sungmin piped in, opening the door and pointing out: a clear sign of "get the fuck out", which the men quickly understood, and after brief bows left the room, Sungmin after them. Kangin then turned to the package, and started carefully opening the tapes around it.

Leeteuk stood up from the couch, walking closer to his friend and the strange object, his eyes glowing a little stronger. (Kyuhyun had been struck with this wonderful idea of connecting the lights behind Leeteuk's eyes to his brain and heart rate, so that whenever he got excited the lights would light up a little more, and if he was angry they changed colour to black. If he was sad, they turned blue, and so on. It simply meant that the black orbs got a shade of which ever colour the lights behind them were at that moment. The young professor thought it was great. So did Sungmin. Kangin thought it sucked. Not because it wasn't pretty, but because for the first week he had had troubles taking his eyes off Leeteuk's.) "Kangin, what is it?"

Kangin smirked. "Wait a moment and you'll see. It will help you get through the test tomorrow." Carefully he opened rest of the tapes and pulled the papers down to the floor, pulling them away from the object, chuckling as Leeteuk's jaw dropped and eyes widened.
