I can't quite decide if I'm too much of a relationship perfectionist or just hopeful. My history makes the idea of a new relationship overwhelming....like being handed an eight pack of crayons, shown the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, and told, "This is about what we're looking for. See you in fifty years." I'm so skeptical of everything, but ( Read more... )

taking risks is a pretty big part of growing up, especially in the relationship department. what ifs come more naturally when the risks aren't taken. even if years from now you wonder why you did something, you also have to wonder if you would have come to be the person you are that day. i say go for it, but go the speed limit

I can't really offer any good advice. The ability to let go of things easily is both a blessing and a curse. Because of it I often do not realize when someone is livid about something until everything comes to a catastrophic climax (much like Mt. Saint Helen's, its always the quiet ones...)

I will at least say one thing. Don't make a half assed decision. If you go for it. FUCKING GO FOR IT! LIFE IS SHORT! If you don't, then DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT! LIFE IS LONG! Brooding over the past will drive you insane. (and make life suck, cuz thats what happens when you go insane)

But also remember, advice is still just advice. Make your own decisions. Your true friends will never criticize you for that. (Unless its like, going against a Sicilian when death is on the line, which you are smart enough to avoid.... right?)

So i guess what I'm trying to say is never pay attention to anything I say about relationships. Except that last sentence, and this one explaining that.
