No one wants to be hurt. But here and now, beauty seems to be all about being hurt. Self-starvation, tanning, hair dye, etc. And not just here and now. Small shoes, girdles, and other trends I don't know about all seem to be statements of durability. We seem to always be hurting ourselves, or weakening ourselves, to appear strong. Heh thanks! I felt like I wrote so crappily! Oh, I don't know the guy, I just remember the customer. Like, it's not somebody I know or anything. And I'm burnt because I sunburn easily. Apparently I'm too vague, lol.

Despite what you may think or be lead to be believe by my horrible-at-all-things-nice-and-communicative, however I do, infact, keep entirely up to date on your journal. I miss you, and I too thought that your paragraph was extremely eloquently worded. I'm glad you updated. Love you.

When I first read this entry, all I could think about was how my feet had cuts all over them from wearing trendy wedge platforms that matched my outfit when I was out and about. It definitely didn't feel like it was worth it the day after the fact, though ... ow ow ow.

I hope it wasn't a coworker that shortchanged you... that would really suck, as you would have to see them everyday.
