Today we got a call from Syndee's parents two hours ago.  Syndee's older sister died in her sleep last night.
They weren't close.  Syndee didn't even know she had a sister until she was in her 20's (the older sister was adopted) and the older sister had a falling out with Syndee and her parents both some time ago.  I never got to meet her, but two

Please offer my concolences to Syndee. I know you've had it rough, but I think you should know I'm glad you are there for her and her's and I have faith that you will hold up 'til the weather finaly breaks'.
