Most great inspirations come while doing laundry and my latest is no exception. If I were you I'd stop reading here because this is super fucking boring to anyone but me

A Barred Owl

The warping night air having brought the boom Of an owl's voice into her darkened room, We tell the wakened child that all she heard Was an odd question from a forest bird, Asking of us, if rightly listened to, "Who cooks for you?" and then "Who cooks for you?"
Words, which can make our terrors bravely clear, Can also thus domesticate a fear, And send a small child back to sleep at night Not listening for the sound of stealthy flight Or dreaming of some small thing in a claw Borne up to some dark branch and eaten raw.

"A lion must feel more secure that God is on his side than a gazelle" - Ernest Becker
"Everyone's afraid of their own life. If you could be anything you want to be you'd be disappointed, am I right?" - Modest Mouse
"Men are so necessarily mad that not to be mad would amount to another form of madness" -Pascal
I love quotes. Have you read "Fear and Trembling" by Kierkegaard? Holy shit. That one will knock your block off. Phew. I wish I was a lot smarter and more quotable myself.
By the way, and this goes to everyone, thanks for reading this crap. It kind of freaks me out that people actually see it, but that is also kind of the good thing about it. Drinking and typing is a hell of a combination.

Ya, I love quotes, too. Sometimes, just one sentence can make me think and think and overthink for days. Nope, haven't had the time to read any of Kierkegaard's stuff - really... I want to so bad, tho! I think I may go look for that book at the store today during lunch. Yep. Thanks!
