My first earthquakes!

Yesterday, I felt a couple of small earthquakes. The first was around 1 pm, and it woke me up from sleeping, but it was just like a little rumbling. The second was around 9 pm, and it was nothing more than as if someone had jumped hard in the house. You can see them if you like, the yellow boxes by Santa Monica ( Read more... )

Don't worry-- they will freak you out when your tables started wobbling as you crouch under them and you can literally feel the foundations of your building shake. That's a 4 point or higher, and that can be pretty scary.

Of course, this is coming from the boy who runs away from thunder. One might say I'm a little puss.
