I quit playing World of Warcraft. I've gone from filling up all my spare time with a video game, to now feeling like I have too much spare time. I'm sure it'll balance out again. I'm contemplating buying Final Fantasy 12, at least that game will have an ending ( Read more... )

I just picked up FFXII today, luckily the kind people in the store held it for me for a week.

Also, if you are a fan of the Phantasy Star series, there is a new one out, complete with an online world. I have yet to play it, but from what I understand it is a complete single player game as well as an online version of the game with different worlds you can play in, much liek the game, but ones that are constantly evolving and you can switch between their different "worlds" (read: servers) for free to experience new content. It makes it sound like a lot of the content is player-based. The only downfall is it will be 10 dollars a month (for online) and I really should not be pimping anything that has the possibility of getting you addicted.

I will have more info on FFXII in the coming weeks.

Glad to see you back! I will see you this week for Christine's party (or whatever we have planned.)

I also picked up FFXII. The gambit system actually isn't as dumb as I originally thought. They've sped up the combat in the game so that it's not really too boring to fight, and having a few gambits set up definitely eases the game along.

Cool, I did not play much last night... FFXII that is. I killed a Rogue Tomatoe then went to bed.

I did, however, get my Nemesis Skullcap.

My roomate is playing World of Warcraft every time I see him. That's dangerous for a law student. I always make myself stop playing a game when it becomes sufficiently addictive to take up hours of my time without me even realizing it. Not enough hours in the day as it is.

I have owned that game for a while, actually. I am just not that good at it, due to lack of practice.
