I haven't often updated this journal, so I'll just assume that anyone who actually still checks this might legitimately care. As some people have learned through hearsay or Erin's journal, we are moving back to Massachusetts. Los Angeles did nothing but make me feel distant. The only thing I really like about this place is the weather. The East Coast is definitely where I want to be.

I'm very excited to have my two babies back! I think that you will thrive here, not just merely survive. You'll find decent jobs in no time and do more than push boxes around. I just don't know if they make ticker tape anymore. xoxomom

A ticker-tape parade is a parade event, held in a downtown urban setting, allowing the jettison of large amounts of shredded paper products from nearby office buildings onto the parade route, creating a triumphal effect by the snowstorm-like flurry.

I definetly feel you with the "glorified data entry" jobs... sometimes it feels like every entry level job turns out to be that. With your statistics background I bet you'd be good in computer programming, or maybe a hedge fund. (disclaimer: I know absolutely nothing about computer programming and am talking out my ass as far as that's concerned)
