Too Much Rain, Chapter 135

Jul 08, 2016 18:35

Here is the next chapter:  a major skeleton falls out of the closet.  (No pun intended).

THIS IS FICTION, but I hope you enjoy reading it anyway.

I can't copy the last part but I think you switched Stella and Mary 😊

No, I didn't switch Stella and Mary. In what way did you think I did? Odd thing - Mary and Stella both married d men named Alistair/Alisdhair. Not exactly a common name, although Stella's husband spells his name differently. I just made 'Chas' up. I know she had a long term boyfriend before Alisdhair but I don't know his name so I made a name up. :)

Thus it was Stella and her husband Alistair with baby Arthur, and Mary with her boyfriend, a real estate investor named Charles, who made up the party.

It was that part 😅

This is such an incredible chapter. I am salivating to see/hear what goes on at their therapy sessions ( ... )

Not long now before we find out what happens in their first sessions back from the holiday!

I think we know what would have happened if Stu hadn't died. He'd already left the band months before he died, and had moved to Hamburg and was planning on getting married to Astrid. The Beatles went on without him, they got their record contract just before Stu died, and were on their way to the top. Stu would have been an asterisk to the story had he not died. His tragic death was romanticized and his importance to the band was blown up all out of proportion by Philip Norman decades later. But he would have been like all the other former band members had he lived - insignificant to the Beatles legacy.

Your points about Paul's declaration of independence once he moved to London are excellent. These are issues that John will need to bring up I agree. Lots of hurts going both ways!

Thank you - what you say about Stu makes sense, especially about Philip Norman blowing his importance out of proportion. Can't wait for the next chapter!!

1) can you post to your own LJ? If not, contact LJ Tech Support here:

2) if you can't post to

http://johnheartpaul.livejournal.com/

that may not be surprising, as it's showing the following:

POSTING ACCESS: All Members, Moderated

This means no member of the comm can post anything without the owner/maintainer/moderator approving it.

The owner looks to be AWOL; http://ljlorettamartin.livejournal.com/profile who posted recently in their own LJ is active and would probably be the best mod/maintainer to PM abt these issues.

HTH!
