[Take a geek genius with a Ph.D in Engingeering and too much time on his hands, add some snow and what do you get? The Fortress of Solitude if Reid has his way. He's out in the show with a spray bottle of water, a rectangular tupperware container, an edge for painting and a tape measure. Reid even has blue prints for this mammoth project. [Ryohei's been outside running around in the snow, because he has enough energy for about twelve people. He notices Reid from some distance away and ambles over to see what he's working on.]

N-not really. I've got the plans all laid out and I'm p-pretty sure that as long as the temperature doesn't go up I can do a small replica.

[Helena walks up a curiously, dressed in her wool jacket, multiple layers of shirts/pants/shorts, and big boots. A thick scarf is also hanging from her neck She has a steaming mug of hot chocolate which she wraps her hands around, grateful for the warmth it gives.]

Snow fort? Looks like a pretty big project.

[Reid looks up at her smiling. He's currently spraying one of the half finished walls with water and smoothing over it.]

[She had been looking at his blueprints, pretending to understand them. She smiled back at him.]

M-me? I think I'd make a mess of things... [She glances back to the blueprints.] But if you'd like help, I'd be happy to.

Y-yeah. I'd like help.

[He hands her a metal dustpan then gets up and measures a distance from where the half a wall he's working on ends. He scuffs his foot in the snow.]

I sh-should have brought paint or some water with food coloring out here. An-anyway just add onto this wall all the way to this point. No more than two feet high. I'll come along behind you and square it up then ice it over.

[Okay, so maybe he might have told Arland that playing around in the snow was a waste of time just yesterday, but it was kind of hard to ignore the giant ice fortress currently under construction. The knight watched for awhile before making his approach.]

[Reid is busy with the fort so the snowball hits him square in the head]

[He rubs his head and turns, looking for the assailant. When he sees her he grins and leans down to scoop up some snow. He's been working for a while. He makes a snowball and throws it toward Anya. He's not the greatest at stuff like this though.]

Doesn't do any good to f-fire ammunition if it doesn't reach it's target.

[Snow was not unusual to Jace, but it was a welcome change. The mage wandered aimlessly through the drifts, his eyes fixed on the grey sky. As his gaze wanders downward he can't help but spot the massive undertaking of snow construction. Intregued he wanders closer. He recognizes Reid as the stuttering man who'd politely replied to his questions on questionable English.]

Quite an undertaking. Most impressive. What is it meant to be when it is complete?

[Well now Reid is just embarrassed. That makes his little twitching worse. Now he's tucking his hair underneath his cap a little and rubbing his eyes. He clears his throat and looks at the fort]

Uhm...it's th-the Fortress of S-solitude. From Superman. B-basically a snow fort.
