Background info on your character: Once upon a time in Misaki, Japan… there lived a little schoolgirl by the name of Satsuki Yumizuka. Satsuki was known to be a school idol because of her bright smiles, perfect attendance and athletic abilities and fairly good grades in school. In essence, she was the perfect, prettiest and nicest girl in Misaki. However, there was one thing she wasn’t good at and that was trying to profess her feelings, let alone gather the courage to talk with, towards the protagonist of Tsukihime, Shiki Tohno, which she admits that she was very nervous when talking to him. Although that’s probably because while she is a ‘prep girl’ while Shiki was more of a nobody. And thus, we have the side character/main protagonist connection.
Although her infatuation for Shiki was supposedly before when she was ‘rescued’ by him, or so she claims (During a middle school vacation, she was in a team badminton team and they were stuck inside an old shed while putting equipment away and Shiki used his eyes to cut the lock and free the girls), her set crush on the boy had been official for her on that day. While she tried to get his attention since then, apparently Shiki never bothered to notice them. It wasn’t until one fateful day when Shiki was called back to the Tohno mansion which made him move away from his former home with the Arimas, Satsuki only had learned that he was moving away and transferring to a different school, so she wanted to confirm this when he arrived in the classroom. (Assuming you didn’t choose to meet with Ciel and help her out) It came to her immediate relief to only learn that it was just a change of address still in the same city. And when she tried to keep on a conversation, SURPRAIZ Inui Arihiko (friend of Shiki Tohno) appears and thus the conversation of the three had gives a foreshadowing event for poor Satsuki and Shiki… there are news reports all over town that there are serial killings occurring at night as each victims were killed with all the blood drained out of them, thus labeling the murderer a ‘Modern day Vampire’. So NOW we got that part out of the way.
MOAR interaction comes when Satsuki asks Shiki to talk with her during lunch, which she expresses her concerns and wants to know if by chance was HE going out at night because clearly in the rumor mill there is someone by the name of “Shiki” going out at night and rating groping killing the people at night, which Shiki does reply that he hasn’t done so. Although this does make her feel better, but she’s still feeling uneasy. And when the day was over she was even more happier that her way towards home is the same as Shiki’s new home and talked about old times in middle school as well as making Shiki promising him if she “is ever in a pinch” since she had so much faith in him as it was already, so HOORAY FOR POSSIBLE RABU-RABU WALK HOME DATES. /o/ Sadly, that’s the last time we Satsuki as a happy little girl.
Apparently, news was heard by the next day that Satsuki ran a way from home! And even matters worse, when Shiki finds her at night she had her hands covered with blood and surrounded with dismembered corpses and a whole new personality compared to her former sweet side. Weeell shit, so much for giving Shiki a turn on about her. (But then again… you never know with Shiki and his guro fixation) and she had no problems admitting that she was the one responsible of killing those people and drinking their blood. Infact, she says this rather happily and a small hint of malice in her tone. And even says that now she could be just like “Shiki-kun” and wants to get to know about Shiki’s “scary side” even more, but she still needed some time to get used to her new body. She then left Shiki in confusion at a speed that no ordinary human could keep up with… so Shiki in turn left the bloody scene to return home.
For a couple of days, Satsuki began killing and taking the role of the serial murder not only to feed herself but to ‘practice’ in which Shiki sees in his dreams (via SHIKI/Roa link-whoops spoiler) but during one night when she goes out on a hunt, that’s when she runs across with a certain Tohno after leaving him a phone message to meet her. By the time he does, Satsuki was at the park collapsed in pain due to her practice runs of using her new found power. It was also at this point is where she is taken from the island before she got dot pierced by Shiki.
Satsuki is a little more confused about her new transformation, as she is trying to hold onto her humanity but at the same time won’t think twice about severing people’s limbs JUST to feed if she couldn’t contain herself, so think of it as a shy and timid girl that’s willing to stay clear of blood as much as possible unless she can’t hold it any longer going apeshit crazy and sadistic when she’s hungry yet it also hurts her physically and emotionally everytime she feeds because… lol, not used to being a vampire and trying to keep humanity. And it is implied that now transforming into a vampire, her magic circuits has been opened and her strength tremendously increased to nearing the ‘Dead Apostle Ancestor’ level of strength in the vampire latter of ranks. (These people being the strongest and oldest of all vampires besides the True Ancestor) And this fact was proven with her ability to use her Reality Marble: “Depletion Garden”.

I think I'm starting to miss home now. Not just because of being here... I miss going back to school. Going back home to see my family. Even going back and see that scary side of Shiki-kun. I wonder if Shiki-kun has forgotten about me by now? W-wait! You don't think he would, would he?! That can't be true! Not after what we last met... but it is like Shiki-kun to forget things too... Hah hah...s-so hungry.
Mmn. All of this talk is starting to make me feel sad and hurting. ... ... ... let's think about something else Sacchin. After all, I am feeling kind of hungry AND I haven't eaten over a week. He he he! I wonder if those little kids over there would be missed? It's not like they would be gone forever with this island's miracle life recovery. I can keep the bodies to feed on and when they are about to come back to life, I'll lay them out somewhere~
... but wait, that blond woman was already making eye contact of me. She even picked up Shiki-kun's name. Has Shiki-kun been going out with a foreigner girl without me knowing?! I don't want to get in a fight with her, something tells me I'll be worse than dead if I ever face her. And not to menti-- get away from me, animal! I have nothing to give to you and YOU can't give anything to me! ... wait, what is that next to yo-- oh! Oh my~! What do we have here?
A dead body! Gunshot wounds, it looks like. That's a pretty mangled face too... and a couple of teeth marks from the animals. And a sword stabbing. He he he~, well this person certainly wasn't liked at all! And who said that wild dogs weren't useful? My claws should rip this arm off HERE! And since you're dead with this many bullet wounds and other injuries, I'm sure you don't mind being useful for a little girl like me, don't you? He he he, well then... thank you for the food~ ♥!
