Never saw "Legends of the Galactic Heroes", but reading this makes me want to now. Hoping I can find the stage plays subbed, found the anime already.

Any hints to find the plays subbed would be awesome~ (especially the version with Nika and Yokoo). My Japanese is fairly moderate and I had to watch Kifushima like 3 times before I got everything down.

I don't think anyone has subbed the stage plays? At least, not that I know of. Unfortunately. :/ I wish someone would, because then a lot more people could enjoy them.

I loved your way with words here:
The heat of Reuentahl’s mouth against his sends fire washing through him like a laser cannon strike, the slide of their tongues a constant battery against his senses. Fighting, battles - these are things Mittermeier knows how to do, and he does them best with Reuentahl, one mind and one heart working together.

The analogies (is this the right word? guh *eigo dekinai*) pulled me deeper into the universe and made this so... well rounded.

Also Mittermeiers struggle and his tiny ray of hope and then at the end when Reuental refuses to talk and Mittermeier gives the command and...and Reinhard-sama giving him a choice and... *blubbers*

I have only read this now. And. Oh goddddd. I'm tearing up right now bc Gale Wolf :(( Twin Stars (and all the emotions and--THINGS.) this was beautiful, especially the recurring notion of "two bodies, one heart".

I didn't provide as much context as I probably should have, so the fic really works best with having seen the final Gineiden stageplay.

But I'm glad that people are reading and enjoying this, even if it's enjoyable in an entirely painful way. ^_^;;
