I'm beginning to realize school elections are bogus, only a few number of students know who it is they're voting for. It's like we have a voting system for the sake of being democratic, where as another system may produce better officers.
How about this: a commission of students/teachers (to which anyone is allowed to join, provided they agree to come to the meetings) who's sole purpose is to analyze applications for these positions, talk to the applicants, and then make an educated appointment to the position. That might produce better officers.
