I think school is killing my interest in computer science. The curriculum is horrible. Horrible. It's like they're trying to convince me how dull/boring computer science is, which seems to be the popular opinion in public already, and now I can see why people think that. I need some time alone with my computer, I don't think I'm going to be taking

Understanding fundamentals and using those fundamentals for self discovery = the best and most exciting learning you can do. Fortunately for me our CS program is pretty good at doing that.

I totally agree. But when you've already established the fundamentals throughout middle/high school, it's MINDBOGGLINGLY boring when they go over them again in college
