Woman charged over panda hit and run
A panda suit has made it easier for police to locate a driver thought to be involved in a hit and run in Christchurch.
A woman was hit from behind by a car as she was getting into her vehicle on Riccarton Rd earlier this month. She was thrown into her vehicle and its door was ripped off.
One of the occupants of the car that hit her was hanging from the front window dressed as a Panda.
Public appeals for information have today resulted in a 25-year-old Christchurch woman being charged with careless driving causing injury and failing to stop."
