You can never go wrong with the string I always fall to.. Hitchhikers Guide, Shaun Of The Dead, Layer Cake, Snatch, Lock Stock, and Trainspotting as well... I am on a British Kick at the moment...
So there are my suggestions...

I just bought Shaun of the Dead (finally) and Trainspotting is one of my favorites. Everything but Hitchhiker's is on my Netflix list already - i'll have to check that one out... Chris has been wanting to read the book first before watching it tho - do you think that's necessary?

I'm not sure.. but it could help with the understanding of a few things, but I think that the movie does a good job of explaining it all in detail.

i've seen most of these and own a few of them (there's pretty much no zombie movie we don't got). I loved Saved and was totally surprised by how great Waiting was. i need to see Party Monster, and finish 13. Never heard of Havoc and Love Object, i'll look em up cause ya said :)
