I completely agree. I didn't think anything could top my love of The Gamble, but this did. There was so much Cohens+1 goodness...all the son and dad references. I literally cried when the episode was over. I just couldn't stand the thought of how that was one of the last episodes ever.
p.s. I don't think I've mentioned it before, but your new icon is beyond awesome! I read where you made it yourself. Very impressive.
I'm so glad I wasn't the only one who shed a tear or two for this combination of finally getting what we wanted ("My Dad's right here" - SQUEEEEEEE! So Ryan has actually seen my icon and decided to answer the question?!) and knowing that it's coming to an end...
Thanks for complementing the icon. I have to admit I'm proud as hell that I managed to make one... It's pretty easy actually (well, this kind of icon anyway, not those amazing artworks that others can create), so if you have any wishes, I could try to make one for you.
I'm pretty sure it was only 1:00 or 1:30 when I typed that. I'm up that late a lot. When I get home I don't do any housework until after Little Bit goes to sleep. Unfortunately, that is usually not until 10:30 he goes to bed at 9:00, but doesn't go to sleep. Then I clean or spend some time with the hubby. Which means my playing on the net and writing time is usually between one and two in the morning. And I wonder why I'm always late to work.
No seeking revenge from me today. I'm still so much in a haze from all the glorious P!D!P! and Cohens+1 that I won't allow myself any feelings of bitterness today. I just don't want to think about all the missed opportunies in S2 and 3, but simply enjoy the goodness that is "My two Dads"...
I promised I'd kiss Josh's feet somewhere in my replies to the "champagne" comments, if Ryan will ever refer to the Cohens as his parents in canon.
And, what does he do? Right. "My Dad is right here" (my heart breaks a bit more every time I re-watch or only write it...).
Believe me, I'm basking in the glow and I stayed up until 3:00 so I could watch it again. It is still a double-edged sword for me because whatever contraints Josh claims, he could have slipped in a few morsels over time and he just let it get away from him and didn't focus
( ... )
I don't care about any bad apples today. The kiss is for this episode and the whole great season 4, since he made Ryan actually call the Cohens his parents. Or at least Sandy. *melts* This is pretty much all I've ever wished for...
So, for today I'll forgive Josh all crappy episodes and every mistake he has ever made to celebrate "The Two Dads". I simply love how you can see how much Ryan trusts the Cohens now.
Tomorrow it's early enough to be all angry at him for messing up so often before (and thus losing a huge part of his audience and getting cancelled...

Strip your feet, Josh!

(That Ryan-Dawn scence from the "previously section" was the moment when I fell for Ryan completely and hopelessly.)
Loved the Ryan-Sandy-Frank scenes.
Oh, and I think Frank is totally manipulative and evil.
His armor cracked the moment Sandy called him on his lies and said no to him! He's dangerous.
