Hm, you should win the Nobel Peace Prize for not telling off Malcom. =]
In other news, that had to be weird seeing those workers creeping around. I think it's funny though that the disgruntled one ended up on the roof. Just make sure he doesn't screw around with it, ya'know? Disgruntled workers never seem to get the job done (just ask my co-workers; they're just like that guy).
Nahhh, they did a good job...I think. It was creepy but Maggie's reaction was great...when she saw him go upstairs she started to FLIP out. I swear she was thinking "STRANGER DANGER!" but who knows. Yeah, troubles with the roof..leaking...ants...and what not. That is why I hate those skylights...thats where the problem was.
There were so many ways to respond to his e-mail but I decided to let it be and be nice. I simply responded with a "Were you scared? I didn't think it was scary.". Chances are he will write back talking about butterflies....and then I will be forced to use sarcasm.
I've had many incidents involving roofers as well. They always have this thing about being creepy. It's not their fault, I think it just comes with the job.

I didn't even bother to respond about the "playing with the children" because I knew he wouldn't get my sarcasm so I just didn't.
