you can always call building services to get your bed lofted. Then they even take your bedparts for you and you don't have to ask anyone you don't want for help. Then just haul the furniture around yourself, it's a gratifying feeling. But i recommend the lofting, I did it, and the floor space is lovely. Enjoy your double single.

Yeah...the problem is more about the desks, I think. Sadly, building services won't move them and they're quite heavy and awkward. (The desks, not the Building Services guys. at least, in this context.)

My friend had a double single before. He put the beds together and it was pretty cool.

I think I would make one of the beds into a couch for eating/doing homework etc. At least that's what I'm going to do with my newly obnoxious roommate-free room for as long as I have it to myself. But then our beds you can't push together OR loft because they're totally stupid.

But mainly yaaaaay for no more roommates.
