So I've been working on the playlist for my radio show, and have created an almost-perfect emotional tableau. I'll have to come in early to play the whole thing, but damn. You should really listen--it's at 7pm central time on WVKC.org!

Oh yeah, I also dyed my hair purple.
( inexplicably huge picture that I resized over and over but somehow doesn't enjoy being 247x250 pixels )

I don't think I told you how awesome your hair is when I saw you yesterday. It's awesome. How did you manage the stripey thing? That's kind of what I'd like done with my hair, at some point.

I also don't think I've mentioned how incredibly fucking weird it is that you met my best friend from home on OkCupid. WTF, internets?

Thanks! My friends helped me with the dye job--they bleached it in stripes, and then filled in the bleached bits with a mix of flamingo pink and plum. If you want, they can probably help you do something similar.

And yes, the Alex thing is surreal, to say the least.

Sweet hair! I really want to do something similar (maybe with red...), but I'm worried about having to bleach my hair. Was this your first time bleaching it? And who helped you?
